apparently i haven’t been very careful with my spam filtering and i accidentally added [url=http://www.bastalaranza.com]geoff[/url] to my blacklist rules. ooops. i guess his emails have been going into oblivion for a while now. silly me.

yes, it would be easier to use some open source spam filtering program like spamassassin.
but i find it much more rewarding to do it myself. plus, if there are any false positives, i want it to be my fault, not someone else’s. =)
i don’t get it. wouldn’t it be easier to use some ready-made spam filtering program like spam assassin?
then again, there is some enjoyment to writing something yourself from scratch.
