it turns out that i stopped reading the harry potter series after the third book. i’m not sure why. my roommate got the new harry potter book and is furiously reading through it now. she has inspired me to pick up where i left off and i am currently reading the 4th book. i’m about 150 pages into it and it’s been a pleasant read so far.
everywhere i go i see people reading the new harry potter book, though. i guess the craze still lives strong. the funny thing is that i haven’t seen any kids reading the book, only adults.
On the day when book five came out, I went to a teppanyaki place and blissfully watched a little girl holding onto the oversized HP furiously chewing on each and every word during dinner. It’s awesome to watch children pick up books again, away from the TV, the video games, and whatever else they do that’s not exactly educational.
some morning radio djs were talking the other day about how they think that guys reading harry potter makes them gay. now that idea is gay!!
i picked up where i left off too but i left off in the last book, halfway through. i only stopped cuz some idiot told me who died. but i’m reading it again 🙂 my bf is reading the new one and he can’t put it down!
