the food balance

i will be the first to admit that my diet is not particularly healthy.  i’ve always loved food and i seem to have a particular fondness for fried foods.  i can’t explain it, it just is.

i think that on the whole, there’s got to be some kind of balance, though.  for example, last night i made a very healthy vegetable soup for dinner.  it was pretty good, and definitely on the healthy side of things.  today, i had fried chicken pops with fried tofu for lunch.  they asked me if i wanted rice or french fries with my popcorn chicken and that was when i knew that i had to reach that ever-so-delicate balance between good and bad.  i asked for the rice.
