no tv, no gaming

i don’t know what it is, but there’s no tv on these days. it used to be that i would just barely be able to keep up with my tv, but these days, i’m scrounging around to find some tv to watch. it’s a struggle and yes, i know, it’s a hard life i have when the biggest problem i have is that i can’t find tv to watch. =P

i’ve hit a wall with guitar hero, too, which means that i don’t have any games to play, either. i’ve been playing some nintendo ds games, but i think that i’m starting to lose interest in those games. the problem with me and the ds is that i don’t have internet connectivity with it, so i can’t play with other people. i know, i know, that’s the strength of the platform, but i just can’t get myself to reduce my network encryption down to 64-bit wep.

i’ve been so desperate for tv that i watched an episode of brothers and sisters. the show is one that i thought i would like when it first aired, there are many people on the cast that i like, like calista flockhart, rob lowe, emily vancamp (amy on everwood), and ron rifkin (arvin sloane from alias). you’d think that i’d love the show, but i just can’t get into the story. it’s just boring. i don’t know how the show won an emmy or got that many nominations.

  1. funny I am the direct opposite..always too much on my DVR and not enough time: Desperate Housewives (i’m not ashamed), House MD, Heroes, Nova, Scrubs, Grey’s Anatomy (another guilty pleasure), and the Mrs is happy that Notes from the Underbelly is back…

    There are tons of nice PC games that I just got (ie TF2, COD4) but again..very limited time to play.

  3. okay, hopefully, i can help you out here. judging from your list above, you are lacking the following:

    * the office

  4. hmm… i don’t know what happened to the rest of my post. i guess it got commented out. ๐Ÿ™

    anyways, here is the list again:

    * the office
    * ugly betty
    * kitchen nightmares
    * project runway
    * the soup

    video games:
    * simpsons game (comes in all platforms. i have the DS version, but my friend says the 360 or wii versions are pretty fun)

    that should keep you busy for awhile! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. you know, you would think that i would be into the office. i work in an office. i like quirky, offbeat humor. but i just can’t seem to get into it. i’ve tried! i don’t know what it is.

    i’m going to try ugly betty. i keep hearing about how good it is, but just haven’t felt compelled to try it out.

    i just can’t watch kitchen nightmares. i can’t stand gordon ramsay. he’s just such an ass! simon from american idol is ok, but gordon ramsay just pushes it too far.

    i was completely hooked on one season of project runway. i don’t know why i stopped watching it! i’ll start right away.

    as for the soup…i don’t get the E channel. ๐Ÿ™

    i have been playing the simpsons game on the DS, too! it is pretty entertaining and i haven’t gotten very far with it yet, but my hands seem to cramp up pretty fast when i play the DS. i guess i need to start working up my DS playing endurance!

    thanks for the suggestions, it’ll probably keep me entertained for a while now!

  6. “Shark” is STILL on??? I lost interest after they stopped filming at my courthouse.

    You know what I enjoyed immensely on Wii in Vegas? SuperMario Galazy. Uh-huh.

  7. you know, i played super mario galaxy briefly. it seems fun. i like how the second player can help you along too. that’s a cute feature.
