i’ve decided that in this summer tv lull, i’m going to rewatch friends. i’m almost done with the second season and the show just brings back so many fond memories.

watching the ross/rachel relationship form, i just watched the episode with the turning point to finally start the relationship. it was the episode with the prom video where ross suited up to be rachel’s stand-in date when her date seemed to stand her up.

that moment when rachel realizes what ross did for her and she goes to him to kiss him is still one of the best tv kisses ever for me.

when installing osx86, some of the keys on the keyboard weren’t mapping out correctly. most of the keys worked, but the backtick/tilde key wasn’t working. i didn’t know what to do, but i finally stumbled across ukelele which will create keyboard mapping files for you. fantastic app and a great way to fix your keyboard if it is misbehaving.

christi is out in texas for some kind of work training so koda and i have been left to fend for ourselves. i worked from home on monday and halfway through tuesday until our internet went down at the house. i then packed up all of his stuff and headed into the office.

so far the week’s been pretty good, koda and i have been spending a lot of time together. he isn’t as happy when i take him into the office as he is at home, but i figure it’ll just take him a little while to get acclimated.

i had the requisite steak dinner last night, but no pizza yet this week! maybe i will go pick up some pizza tomorrow, we’ll see!
