pet peeve on how to resolve issues

Posted on Tuesday 20 June 2006

one of the biggest pet peeves i have when resolving issues with me is when one decides to just wait until i forget why i was so upset and just go back to how things were before i got upset.

what bothers me even more is if the person realizes that they do this and think that it’s better this way.

Stop forgetting. You can sit in a rocking chair and crochet the names of all your enemies and how they’ve wronged you into a long scarf. What Dickens novel is that from?

i think i know maybe two dickens novels. so my chances of guessing are pretty good. but, of course, because i had to know what the right answer was, i had to look it up. i actually have read a tale of two cities, but i have no recollection whatsoever about what it was about. =P
