she’s here! she’s here!

it was a completely unexpected surprise. though, i suppose that one cannot have an expected surprise…in fact, one could say that the phrase unexpected surprise is redundant. but then one would realize that we are straying from the point.

and the point is that at 3:06pm my bundle of joy came into my life. she was just too eager to come out and play with her daddy and despite all of the indications that she wasn’t due until next week, she came today.

when i first laid eyes on her, tears of joy were welling up in my eyes. we don’t have a name for her yet, but soon enough i’m sure that something will come. she is, of course, my new 20″ LCD!

dark offices

one of the weird things about my office is that late at night, the office, for whatever bizarre reason opts to turn off all the lights in the hallways. so whenever i leave work, it’s really, really dark. in fact, the stairs are quite treacherous territory. as i was walking down the stairs carrying a big box, i had to tread extra carefully to make sure that i didn’t trip over myself.

tru calling – how bad, bad can be.

you know, i had high hopes for tru calling. i guess i had hoped that eliza dushku’s show would be a great hit…something worthy to replace buffy. but no. instead we are assaulted with this ridiculously bad show whose only goal seems to be worse than its previous show.

how many times does tru knock something off the bedstand and break something? when will she learn? seriously. bad, bad writing. it’s painful to watch.
