i have so much see’s candy at home. my sister gave me a bunch of see’s candy chocolate bars. my mom gave me 4 pounds worth of chocolate: a 2 pound box of the nuts and chewy and a 2 pound box of the milk chocolate candies. i have so much chocolate in the apartment right now, i don’t know what to do with it.
how is it that see’s candy became THE candy of choice to give? how come gummy bears didn’t win that market? or kit kat? or crunch bars? what makes see’s candy more common than other chocolates like godiva? is it just the moderate price point? hmmmm…
Some of our relatives like to give us gift certificates to See’s every Christmas. They’ve been building up so now we have a stack of about 8 gift certs, each for one pound. Hmm…wonder if I could sell them on eBay…
I think See’s is really good and I always think of See’s during the holidays. It’s relatively cheap and now you can get 2 gift certificates for See’s at Costco.
My favorites are: rum nougat and chocolate covered ginger. If u get the gift certificate u can pick and choose what u want for your lb-u don’t have to get the pre-packaged stuff!!
Godiva chocolate is awful.
